RE: Your G Wagen.

Thanks! It's genuine leather... and cost was a decent € 160 including retrimming of armrest which had worn out too...

Hi all,

I'm new to this great forum and here's mine in Kabul, Afghanistan. W463 G320 soft-skin - purchased from NATO when they switched all vehicles to armored only.

RE: Your G Wagen.

Welcome

Have NATO's G-wagens like yours something different than those usually on sale?

RE: Your G Wagen.

Ciao Ace31,

no..this one was a regular W463 G320 Classic Edition. I've just upgraded suspension and use different tires, that's all. I am currently working on the interior to replace the very "stupid" looking wooden parts with carbon or just carbon vinyl them over and have to install various infrared lights inside and outside.

regards from Kabul
Chris

The Fernweh Wagen.....

Karl

I really like the naturally shingled roof that you added to the adventure trailer in the second photo. Makes you feel at home even on the road.
