tda003 Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Detailing my car The Southern Stars section of MBCA wants me to come to a concourse on Jekyll Island, Georgia, so folks can see my car - it was the '06 raffle prize. I feel as if I should detail the car before showing it. It's not that I want to win, but really feel like I should do something special for the club. Anyone know were I can get a lazy man's guide to auto detailing or info to that effect? Thanks.

Beleriand Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | RE: Detailing my car I am sure that there are mobile auto-detailers that can come to your location and give your car a professional detail. Be sure that they use a clay bar first and - at the very least - a good, natural carnuba. There are quick detail sprays and the like that can give your car a quick dress-up. But they only really work well if you have a good foundation of wax or polish to enhance. I was lazy with detailing my cars before I got my SLK and started modding it. Since then, I have started detailing my own cars and I really love it. I use Zaino personally. Check out my gallery for the results. Good luck. Edited by Beleriand 5/13/2006 11:28 PM
