Great parts service

I know someone else in these forums has mentioned these guys when looking for parts:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=214089&cata...

All I have to say is they have done me right twice.

When I was having problems with oil on the turbo I ordered a seal and clamp from them, along with another seal I thought I might need but wasn't sure. I figured it was $15, so if I didn't need it I would send it back. They took the time to call me and tell me the extra part was not necessary for my ML 320 CDI based on the VIN etc. So I saved myself the trouble of finding out. They got it right.

Then I ordered the turbo from them. My mechanic was going to charge me $2,800 plus shipping and something for a profit etc. I told them I could come up with it myself. So I checked out these guys again, and they got it for me $2,400 including shipping plus they upgraded me to overnight. I also noticed on the bill that it says part number 642-090-63-80 replaces 642-090-23-80. I am assuming that the newer part number represents something improved because the old part # had issues like oil leaks? But anyway...

Just in case anyone is looking for parts...I recommend them.

RE: Great parts service

I use their website to check prices, but go to an MB dealer up the road in Gainesville, FL. When I tried to do business with MB Ft Liquordale a while back, they would not take orders if the bill to and ship to addresses were not the same; so I use Duval Motorcars in Gainesville.

Contact: darvin.fletcher@duvalmotorcars.com

His prices are the same as or better than MBFL.

RE: Great parts service

Appreciate the information.

Never hurts to have more than one source.
