Here is the sites main page:

It says they sell blueprints? I guess they mean service manuals I will look further.

haha, yes, you are quite right. It looks a lot like yours.

I like those rims. They made the car look much better than the kind that they give us in the US. Mercedes-Benz North America did not even offer the US these rims on the W140. Every W140 and C140 had the different W140 rims. These rims came on the W210 E class here, but not on the 140.

The European, Asian, and Middle Eastern Specifications of the 140 all had these rims avalible. Those rims look good anyway...

well, the wheels on that S600 are not exclusive to the S600. They were avalible for any W140 sold everywhere Except the US. I believe they were factory options.

yea, Dantefr's S500 Grand came standard with his AMG rims because that was the way Mercedes-Benz made the limited production Grand Edition. It was part of the package.

Sorry thats what I meant, I think that they look like 17' ones? When you had a 600 what did yours have because I have seen 600s with the regular wheels and not even chromed ones like yours, in fact I don't think we even have the chrome ones here.

yea, Chrome rims were not standard on these cars. You had to get them chromed elsewhere, buy chrome replicas, or get ripped off from MB, and buying them from MB.

My 1997 S600's rims looked like this. I snagged this pic off of eBay.

Those are the later ones right? I have seen wheels off the w220 put on a W140 here and they look good. Ant thoughts on getting another W140?

yea, I wanna get another S600 soon. Not too soon though, probably a couple of years or so. I loved my S 600 so much. It was a 1997 Brilliant Silver S600. Silver really looks great on the 140, but I wanted to try out black too.

So far, this 1996 S500 is my third W140.

RE: Interesting Website

I think to be able to buy any W140 or S class for that matter brand new is a big accomplishment, not to mention the free car wash That cracks me up, I bet if you got a brand new low spec C class and sold it the next day and thus got free car washes for life you would earn the difference back.

Thanks for the compliment NZ Benz,

haha, yea, but you have to have the special sticker in order to get the carwashes, and also, it has to be a MB.

But the other thing to remember is NZ Benz, is that too many carwashes are bad for your paint and rims, because of the acidic chemicals that they use.

I wash my car by hand whenever I get a chance. But sometimes I have to take in through the carwash.

At least it is a good obsession. In the name of cars.

Nice signature BTW.
