haha, yeah, I was wondering about that too. Both the blue, and the black one say "600SL" I guess it is just a typo, cuz on the actual cars, it says 600SEL on the license plates, as well as the bottom of the car.

AND, what's even weirder is that they also make a R129 version by matchbox, which I have, and they only make a 500 SL.

Here's a pic of that one:

I have the accurate W126 Model in scale 1:43.

I really hope to get the proper and accurate scale model of a W140.

The tamiya is hand made by me . I don't think it's perfect.

I need to find a ready made model then i'll be satisfied.

Well if the cars are place in the garage(Like warehouse) for 10 over years without starting it. Many things would go wrong.

Even fungus(sp)/mould are grown on some leather.

All the 100 plus cars auction have low milage. Most have 87km-80km or even 10km on it.

At the auction.Photo is not allowed. But since it's like once in 2 or 5 years or even don't have. I USE a cell phone. All taken in 2003.

Hi,

wow, that is amazing. Too bad the cars are in such a bad shape. Do you've got any more pictures of those governmanet/the king's cars? I'd love to see them

Thanks,
Basman

Re: Zeq 320

I've got some questions about those auctions. How do you get into one of those? Is it invite only or is it announced anywhere?
And are most of the cars auctioned the more normal car (like Mercedes or BMW) or are there alot of supercars (Aston's, Ferrari's, Porsche's)? Are they really in all in such a bad state? And for how much do the cars go? are the prices low or high?

Thanks,
Basman

AFAIK you can get a pretty good deal as teh seals in most of the cars are buggered due to them sitting and not having the oil changed etc, so provided that you are going to put the cash into it to fix the problems then the prices are low alot of dealers buy out of Bruni and ship here to NZ.

I bet they really shoot up the prices, so the seats will start molding again because no one will buy it...

Thanks. Too bad you didn't took those Porsche pics, maybe there are more of those garages. Those garages are beyond awesome

I've checked out the W140-forums abit, because imo it's the coolest S-class of all, and came across some pictures that were posted by you. I was wondering if they are also the King's cars?

Re: Zeq 320

I thought it would be cool to share my online gallery of the Royal Brunei collection with you guys (I thought I had allready mentioned it, but I just saw I didn't). About a year ago I started the gallery and started actively posting about the collection in threads on Fchat and Supercars.net. My collection of pics soon grew out to be the largest (known) picture collection on the net.
Well.. that's about it, if you've got questions please ask

Here's the url: http://www.supercars.net/gallery/129612/976/1.html (Mercedes-Benz can be found on the 10th page)

I still update the gallery every couple weeks with new cars and/or info.

(I can also post those updates here if you want?)
