It was installed 23-December 2017. The ball joint ends started clicking / popping about a month ago and making a loud pop sound when turning...it is definitely bad ball joint ends and not the CV Joints. Good thing the part is under warranty. It has less than 5,000 miles on it. Never Offroad, either. I hear Mercedes may have went cheap and these may now be supplied by TRW instead of Lemforder ??????

FWIW, the tie rod (A.463.330.04.03) I purchased from my MB dealer and installed in February 2012 is a TRW part; and it fit perfectly in my 2000 G500. Still doing just fine.

The Clear polyurethane type. Add to the misery replacement boots are no listed on EPC. Found another boot for a MB Van which together with a machined metal ring I was able to get it to work.

I have some Schaeffers 274 in a grease gun. I will probably use this.
