The fastener pin is about central and longer and will have a serrated press on $0.03 washer holding it in place. Just pry this off with a screw driver. They usually break. You can get a new on at the hardware store. Then the hood badge just pulls off. | ||

There was a piece of very sticky padding covering over mounting on underside of hood. Once I peeled that of the pin showed. Fastener was gone but badge stayed. Is the leg that takes the fastener straight or bent? First one I have removed. | ||

Mine has almost 45 deg bend and it looks cast so I won't even try to straighten. Part of the reason it was difficult to remove. Had to lift short stem out of hole then rotate badge out of second hole with longer bent stem. Anti theft at its best. | ||
