My daughter closed the door on the passenger side rear, when we got him (5 minute drive), the rear door was jammed. The latch would disengage but it would only open a few inches, almost as if there was a rag or something jammed in the door. I've read the door panel can get stuck. Has anyone had this happen on their G, any suggestions?

My problem is the insid panel getting stuck in the seal, seems to get worse during summer season. Have replaced all panel clips and disassembled the seal god knows how many times, still haven't found a permanent fix. Over time it even developed a crack in the panel.. pisses me off, becaus I've a new set of interiors and door panels, but I'm too scared to install them as it might damage also the new one.

A little repositioning of the trim piece did the trick. I had to extend the screw holes medially. It may be that you have to try putting in some low profile trim screws into the door panel to pull it closer to the door and away from the seal.
