Ever seen these wheels?

After giving up on my idea to get 17 inches steel wheels for my G (recent thread I posted here) I started to look at 18 inches models. About 5 hours ago I'm walking down the streets of Montreal when I see the attached picture (if this your G then congrats, it looks really good). I thought, this is a G500, for once I should be able to easily get these wheels in North America

I spent the last three hours searching for them and didn't find any seller. I know these are authentic G wheels because I found them in an official Mercedes brochure:

https://issuu.com/brabusg36/docs/brochure2008_german
(thanks again Brabusg36!)

Interestingly, they are not in the World version of the same brochure... not a good sign.

If you have any information about these wheels please send my way.

Thanks!
JSP

RE: Ever seen these wheels?

Thanks guys. I did look on alloywheelsdirect.net but it seems I missed it. But maybe it is good as this will save me some money. Dutch have you ever ordered on oediscountparts.com? I didn't know that website before but it seems like a catch.

It is my "go to" site for MB parts. They are an authorized MB dealer. Not sure if he can ship to Canada.

RE: Ever seen these wheels?

That was the stock wheel on the 2005 G500 Grand Edition. Notice the badge on the side (above the V8) that is the Grand Edition logo. Inside will be a plaque with the vehicle number. I think they made 500, but I'm not sure. Mine just says 307 instead of 307/500. I like the wheels a lot. Good luck.

RE: Ever seen these wheels?

The 2008 versions are similar but do not have the raised portions between the spokes and the indent where the spokes connect to the wheel are not as deep..

Re: Ever seen these wheels?

Yes the ones I posted were taken off of a Grand Edition brand new! Tires still had the tread nipples on them. I picked them up, boxed, and shipped them to JSP earlier this month.

Definitely a rare G-class wheel.

Another fine example of what a great forum we have here. Well done!

Now JSP owes us photos of them on his G.
