| Rear brake calibers - source
Been trying to find a source for a new or refurbished set of rear calibers for my G400, sadly no luck.
It might be that these are a bit special though, ´cause I have been able to find front calibers (make ATE), but no rear ones.
Any insights most appreciated since the OEM MB part has a hefty price tag. Thanks

Do they cross over to the G500 of the same year? In the US the MB parts are rather inexpensive. I recall spending around $250 each or so. |

Thanks BlueG, that would make sense indeed, around same amount of horsepower/torque I think. I will try to get the part no from my dealer.

Right Caliper: A.000.420.10.79 - US List Price: US$292.00. Discount: US219.00
These prices are MB parts from an official authorized MB Dealer. They are the same P/N for the 2014-2017 US G550, G500 in Europe. |

Are you old ones to bad to rebuild? If you are so inclined there are rebuild kits for them.

BTW I think the link is for the front calibers, my bad ones is the rear set...

I can't find anything under A0004200978 or 79. But if they are in fact the same as the US G550 rear calipers then that would also make the same as the 02-08 G500 rear calipers. Do you have trouble ordering the states and having shipped to the EU? I am sure a dealer in the states could do that for you however you would likely have to order based on a USA model - for example a 2005 G500 so they could look it up in MBUSA parts. |

The caliper Dutch posted is what I bought too. That is a good price (I am thinking I paid in the $250-300 range but can't remember). Hopefully that dealer can ship out for you. If they cannot just message me and I will order and ship to Denmark for you. |
