Brake pad wear warning was on when I bought it (along with an error about one of the rear backup lights). I replaced the front pads and rotors, and the error persisted. I check the rears and the pads are fine, so I disconnected the sensor there. I guess I could have a broken wire somewhere that is grounding, but I'm not sure where to start. Are there common places for them to break? Thanks, Tad

There was a pinched wire near the driver's side inner fender. I disconnected it there and no more error. Next up is to strip and splice it. Tad

It looks like the factory placement. It was punched fairly close to the bracket that holds the connector. The sheet metal may have been bent below it however. Who knows if someone in a garage somewhere in the last few years hit the wrong spot with a hammer. -Tad
