| S.O.S. - 1999 G320 No Crank No Start
Hello,
No Crank No Start - 1999 G320, V6 M112.945 Engine, 722.610 Automatic Transmission
The STAR gave me a fault message "Component Y3/6s1 (Starter lockout contact) or component Y3/6b1 (Transmission oil temperature sensor) is sporadically faulty or both".
Both located on the Conductor Plate which is inside of the transmission.
And a second Fault code was C1011 - "Power Supply A7/3 (Traction system hydraulic unit)".
What was done so far;
1. Drained Transmission Fluid
2. Cleaned the Valve Body
3. Replaced Conductor Plate (the part # of the new CP is different - WAS - 1402700069, NEW - 1402701161 which is a big concern... and I will appreciate any input about it...)
4. Put everything back together
5. Replaced Transmission 13-Pin Connector Adapter Plug
6. Cleaned all electrical contacts
7. Refilled Transmission with the new Transmission Fluid
8. Checked ETC (Electronic Transmission Control Unit) for oil in it - Everything is dry and clean
9. Erased Stored Fault Codes
10. Tried to Start the Engine - NO Luck - No Crank No Start
11. Checked Fault Messages again - Absolutely Nothing - Everything is OK - NO Fault Codes
I am very frustrated and don't know what is causing this issue and what should I do to fix it.
I have found many online discussions about similar problem, but no one describes the solution, how it was fixed...

Make a search for K40 relay, it gives no crank if a couple of solderings are bad... |

Obvious question, is the transmission in park? Will it turn over and start with transmission lever in Neutral? |

Did you try to start the car with the shifter in N
I had problems with the shifter contacts |
