The 2002 has had a lot of annoying problems. Window switches, regulators, seat electronics that will only go forward, AC flaps that broke, etc. just cheaply made. I need honest feedback on the 2014 G55. Is this a good year, reliable, etc? Thanks in advance. My wife thinks I’m crazy to want another G, that I’m going to have to work on all the time. Merry Christmas AGuess

The last versions without the start stop function which I would not like. The 2014/15 G63 has it already. Also, I prefer the naturally aspirated motor for multi 100K mechanical longevity.

Have to ship it from CA, very clean and always serviced at the MB dealer. I tried to buy from the owner, but he traded it. I found the dealer but they auctioned it. I found the auction house and they would not give me info. Google of the vin each day found who bought it. I then bought it from them. My current 2002 G500 I’ve had for 10 years and I’ve put 105 k miles on it.Total Miles 234k. I hope this 2014 lasts as long. Thanks everyone Edited by AGuess 1/14/2021 9:44 PM

I thought they had started the G63 model by then. They are all really great vehicles and I'm sure it will serve you well for many years and many miles. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a15120477/2013-mercedes-benz-g-cla...
