600SEL From Brunei in NZ, interesting interior.

The interior is a green like the AMG W140 that 1996 S500 has just got the kitset of. Never knew that green was an option. Was meant to be part of the Sulten's fleet. (So the seller says)

RE: 600SEL From Brunei in NZ, interesting interior.

Well, up until last year, the Sultan owned 11 properties in Aucklands upper-class Herne Bay, he sold them for approx US$60 million to a local businessman
I believe he even pulled two multi-million dollar homes down to build a single giant mansion on the land

Ironically, despite the large number of multi-million dollar homes he owned in NZ, while here, most of his time was spent in luxury hotels

So, if he owned nearly a dozen homes in just one suburb, I'm sure he would've had a few cars lying around

wow, that interior color is very strange. I don't think MB ever offered that color as one of the standard interior colors. It must have been a special order. it looks really nice.

Well, I'm a dumb s**t
I got the NZ-US exchange rate around the wrong way, it was meant to be NZ$35million which would have been about US$20-25 million at the time he sold them last year
