| Hairline cracks at the tail light assembly
Has anyone noticed any hairline cracks at the mold line between the lower red and the middle clear lens of the tail light assembly? I noticed one that is 2.5 cm long and another that is 4 cm long and it follows the mold line exactly. It is found on the left tail light but the right one looks perfect.
I believe this may be a materials quality and worksmanship issue from the suppliers to the MB factory. I've called and left a message with the service adviser at a local MB dealer. I plan to bring it in for evaluation and replacement.

The clk(209) has similar issues with the third brake lamp.

The tail light assembly was promptly replaced with a new one by the dealer. |
