| Widest tires on W126's
Hello,
I just joined the fourum and converted from another German makers tuning to come over here and start over.. My question is I'm going to replace my factory wheels on my 380SE and may go with either 16x8" SL class or AMG 17x8 fronts and 8.5-9" reps in the rear. My question is what is the widest tire I can run on either sets? I know with the older S classes you have to run a lower offset rim to keep from rubbing issues on the inside.
16x8 225/245 50?
17x8 225/45's fronts and 245/255 45's rear??
Any help would be appreciated..
