A general bleat for assistance! I have been a merc nut for decades and an occasional member on this and many other mb forums. Due to my father passing early this year, in a few months time i will have an influx of cash and should then be looking to purchase an older classic mb. Its most likely to be a pagoda sl, but if funds are tight maybe a w111 coupe or w108 saloon. Since i live in england i was wondering if there was a national company in the us that i could pay to inspect/assess a potential purchase on my behalf, which would have to be cheaper than flying over and also allow me to react quicker to a potential vehicle arriving on the market? any pointers would be gratefully received, plus any experiences and ideas of cost!
