Even when you deal with shops, this maintenance item is UNIFORMLY forgotten. Even the WIS does not have a specified replacement interval. Yes, there is a "Check Level" each 50,000 miles, but nothing about "changing". Please note-- I used Redline. YES, it is not on the Service Sheets, but many people I trust have used it for decades with excellent results. I have used it for "many years" and am very happy with it. Yes, you run the risk of "leaks" with the Synthetics, but I think it is slightly quieter ride, and there is a theoretical improvement in Gas Mileage. Decide for yourself. Again, DON'T hold me responsible.
