| 290 gdt Veteran Date registered: Jan 2008 Location: GREECE - MACEDONIA (Now in Athens) Vehicle(s): w461,290 gdt, 1999, LHD Posts: 126  | OM 602 turbo, loss of power Hi all, my G wagen engined by an OM 602 turbo has a strange habit lately  Whenever the engine reaches the normal temp (82 C) cannot rev more than 2000 - 2200 prm. If I switch off the engine for couple of minutes and switch on the engine runs for sometime normal and after a while starts to rev like to be in an "emergency mode". If the temp of the engine go below 80 C runs normally  In the beginning I have changed the temp sensors on the engine to eliminate the possibility of a wrong signal either to ECU or to pump.  I don't know what to do next. If anyone could help is very welcomed. Regards Angelos  | |
