Pirelli sucks

I just bought 4 tires for me ML320 Pirelli scorpion zero. They are 285/55/18s. They are very loud. When youre just cruising you can hear the damm tires. And i heard it will get worst when the tread wears out. Im going to try and return it to Tire Rack. Im not happy with them. Anyone else have this experience with these tires?

RE: Pirelli sucks

Well, reviews on Tire Rack for this tire rates it a 6.9 (out of 10) for Noise Comfort. While that is in Tire Rack's "Excellent" category, it is a pretty low score.

If road noise is a high priority, research and don't buy a tire with a score below 8.5; for ultimate road comfort a Michelin X-Terrain (8.6 on Tire Rack; extremely quiet and smooth tire) or Toyo Proxes (no personal experience) is probably your best bet.

I have the Scorpion Ice and Snow, they are awesome tires, never really noticed any road noise.

My Scorpions have been awesome so far, wet or dry, 40 or 85, makes no difference, they perform top notch.

Re: Pirelli sucks

a friend has scorpions on his Amazon and they are near silent, i shoudl point out there are a few models of scorpion so it's possible the ones he has are not the same as yours (i think his are AT, not M+S etc.)

RE: Pirelli

^^^ oh, um. ignore that post

Turns out they're P6's and they say "Four Season M&S"

So maybe that's why they're noisy?

Continental 4x4 Contact's are a little noisy. Don't know if it's because they're getting worn or not.
