Under the car where the exhaust manifold meets the exhaust pipe you will find the O2 sensor, It is like a spark plug that screws into the exhaust pipe. Unscrew it, screw in the new one, and re-connect the wire . Easy job.

A combination wrench of the correct size will do too and it is very inportant to torque to the correct spec.Do not drop the O2 sensor!!!

leinito Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: bad oxygen sensor For future reference, try this site (not sure if hyperlinks are allowed, so remove the spaces) car body parts . net They have the best prices I've ever seen...but I haven't bought anything from them so I cannot speak for the quality or how much they charge for shipping. They list all kinds of parts, and I noticed that the 3 wire O2 sensor for my car is listed for less than $25.
