| RE: W116 Photo Gallery Here's old faithful A 1979 280SE, a 185hp euro model which I got in 2002   A before pic  Here's my old '77 450SEL, my '79 280SE and my dads '79 450SEL at the front   I don't have the chrome rims any longer, I went off chrome for a while and sold them but I'm looking for other suitable rims, possibly chrome, I don't know At the mo' she's sitting on 15" W126 rims She's been parked up outside (covered) all winter which has not been nice to her, with rust finally showing up due to a leak in the rear window rubber and a leaky sun roof I last had her on the road earlier this year at a benz club outing were she got to hammer it around a wide open field in a time trial, she ran beautifully I sold my '77 450SEL late last year Plans for her just fell by the wayside sadly, as they do Man that 450 was awesome, much more fun car to drive than my 500SEL, it had a gruntier sounding engine and was real easy to get sideways, I sure miss it | ||
