Photo in Signature

First, since there are not yet any galleries here, you have to post your photo somewhere on the web where it has a web address like http://blahblah.

Then you need to put the following line in the sig box in your "My Profile":

**<**img** **src**=**http://&&&**>**

1.) Remove all the **'s.
2.) Leave a space between img and src.
3.) &&& is the link to your photo.

(If I hadn't put all those extra characters in there, it would have displayed a broken image link instead of the syntax.)

Check the boxes to use your sig and to view other's sigs.

Click on Submit at the bottowm of the page, and you're in.

Hope that helps.

RE: Photo in Signature

Got this one working!

Put the Pic on the Internet or select any Pic on the Internet (be careful for Trademarks and Copyrights), once the pic is in the "Album" then right-click on the Photo, select "View Selection Source" ....."copy" the hi-lighted sentence (only the Hi-lighted area between <...and...>).......then "paste" in signature box at P3...My Profile.

Easy..........when you know how!

RE: Photo in Signature

Sorry for my ignorance. How do you set up the url?

I have never set up a web page, and would like to post some photos in my signature.

I think I might need the "for dummies" version of guidance.

I think Photobucket (photobucket dot com) is the easiest for keeping photos online. It generates the url to each of your images, so all you have to do is copy and paste.

Unfortunately it's not just copy and paste on this site - you need to modify the prefix of the pic url; see DUTCH's post above.

yea, it is pretty difficult, especially if you want a couple pics right next to each other.

Yeah, gotta admit: I usually boil mine for seven minutes, I like to make sure the yolk is fully cooked.  My other half does 'em for 4 minutes - she likes a runny yolk.  Hey, maybe we should have a poll...

That is true. I like to cook them all the way too. I personally think that they taste better that way...

Maybe we should have a poll.
