| Floormat Bulletin?
Hi guys, I don't actually contribute on this thread but I was hoping I might be able to get some help from you guys. I'm not sure whether the bulletin/add was for the 107 or 129 SL's but I was told that MB had an issue with excessive heat coming up through the floorboards as a reult of the exhaust being tucked up so close to the floor. To rectify this problem, MB supplied a 3/4" thick material with an aluminum backing to go under the floormats. I'm interested in this material for noise and heat dissapation in my 280GE. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance!
