Looking for a E320 CDI. Better year than an other???

Greetings, as the title says I'm looking for a E320 CDI for my wife. I have a 2000 Gelaendewagen, and with that I know there are a couple of years to stay away from. Are there are "bad" years for the E320? Is there anything specific to that car that I should pay attention to? Thanks in advance for any help. -James
