Buy it or leave it?

I have stumbled across a very clean black on gray 190e 2.6 with 66,000 miles very close to me.

The seller is willing to let me check it out in any way I want.

It is tight. Drives extremely well. Handles well and has some zip.

I can get it for $5k or a tad less. They seem to be going for more than that on eBay with with low miles.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

We had one and liked it very much. The fuel filters were clogged from gunk and I had to replace them, but other than that it gave me good service. Does the seller have any service history? What year? Check the A/C climate control and the flex disc. Shocks will need replacing too I would guess. Plan to spend around $1,000 a year on maintenance. All the plastic under the hood is cooked from the heat by now. May need a wiring harness if it has not been replaced yet. Offer 4.
