(vs about 19 on the old 3.0 Litre 6 Cyl I had before) wow. It sounds really nice. Too bad they don't sell them in the US.

Misfit Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: B Class mini site Right now I really don't think it would sell well in the US While a "smaller" car - it is huge inside and can compete with vehicles like the Subaru Wagons, RAV4, CRV etc but for that North Eastern US area, there is no AWD, so it would be at a disadvantage. For other parts of the US (ie CA) the 2.0 litre 4 cyl would not have enough "raw HP" that is so popular in the US of A - the engine accelerates really well for the "Passing Maneuver" that 50 to 80 MPH burst - but it is definately not a road burner off of the line. So if you factor in the 2 largest US markets, CA & the North East it is at a disadvantage in the "Value Equation"

ZAP has some US DOT compatible cars available - but they are apparently pretty expensive because of the aftermarket mods required - Last I heard the next Gen car will meet DOT standards - although I don't know if the decision has been made to try selling them
