Nav stopped working. DVD would not eject. Then started turning itself on and off like it was possessed then it just went dead. Checked fuses - power to unit.
Shouldn't have said anything. 145,000 miles. Check Engine light comes on. Time to replace glow plug.
They have a Remanufactured Parts number for Navigation Unit ,Reman Part # A211870892680
I think you can also send it to becker for repairs. I'm pretty sure you can temporarily take the Nav Unit out of the (MOST) fiber optic loop.
I recently retrofitted the Navigation Unit to my car. It was pretty easy. Since it was pre-wired from the factory.
Wow 145,000 miles! I'm only at 32,000 miles. |

Just applied for my grille badge. Now at 160,000. Got 42 mpg the other day on a 200 mile trip. |

180,000 miles. No problems. Contemplating the GLK when the diesel comes to market, but part of me wonders why I would do that when this car is paid for. |
