Darth Benz

Well tommorrow is the day to start cutting for the wide body conversion. I figure it will be complete in about a month/month and a half so this will be a progressive thread with progress updates here and there.

You'll either hate or love it when it's done but I bet you never seen a W116 quite like this

76 450SE Euro

Need to cut out the rockers........Gone and no hope for them

Getting started on front fenders.

Roughly how far they will protrude out.Next will be sheet metal fabbing.

The 20" wheels that will be the finishing touch. Can't decide which one of these I want to get.It all depends if I black the grill trim out or not.

Re: Darth Benz

i thought youd know what dish means also.. look how the spokes are set far back in the wheel.. thus making it look like a deep dish pan.. dish.. if i could figure out how to post pics here id post a pic of a 350Z with some reallllly dish wheels

Re: Darth Benz

Oh,I thought it was some new word like kewl,tight,etc....... "Deep dish" I know but are technically called reversed. I once had some 15 X 10 reversed wheels and those were "dish" .

Widebody update

Enough playing with this front fender now :banghead:  I'll fine tune it when I get done with the other 3 but you can see it coming to life.Thin layer of primer to keep it from rustin' .
