cool, I have to give my car a nice cleaning and waxing. Is that what you did to get that great shine on you're W211's hood?

Yes.

I can't stress enough how important it is to follow all of the steps (Wash,Clay,Paint Cleaner,Polish,Wax) to get a show car shine. I do this about twice a year to all of my vehicles.

Last time I used NXT wax for the first time.I highly recommend it. But if you're waxing a black car. It's best to do 2 layers of wax. First you're synthetic wax (like NXT). Then your carnauba wax. I Find that adding carnauba gives a better shine.
