question about headlight lens

So a rock came up and hit my headlight lens, do I have to replace the whole thing or just the lens? the dealer is telling me I have to replace the whole assembly which is 600.00...is this true? and if so how much more would it cost to put euro lights on? anyone have an idea?

well, I am pretty sure all you have to replace is the headlight lense. The W140 and the W124 are very much alike, so I am assuming that they both have the lenses that can be replaced.

I am just trying to help Monica, I am not 100% sure about the W124, cuz I haven't owned one. Sorry.
