Wah!!!

I spent an hour and a half washing and sort of waxing the ML today. Then I take it out for a ride, etc....

Since there's still big snow piles outside in the streets and factor in the mid-40 degree, sunny weather and it's melting all over the place. So much for cleaning it.

It also took me about an extra fifteen minutes to a half hour to get anywhere because I took detours and went to other streets to avoid the water puddles. If I couldn't do that, then I'd just drive slowly. The people behind me were irritated, but screw them.

RE: Wah!!!

This is why I always keep an extra vehicle for driving in crappy weather.

Maybe you can use this as an excuse for your parents about why you need a separate car?

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wash it again this weekend. Maybe clean the interior while I'm at it. We're supposed to get rain and snow this weekend though.

My buddy from Grand Rapids called this past Saturday and said you guys were expecting another big snow, there. He asked what our temp was and I said '72º'. He said he hated us! He's coming down in April to hit the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course and do some catfishing at our place.

It was in the 70s on Tuesday I think. Then it dropped to the 30s-40s again. My weather.com desktop thingy has been going off like crazy. We've had tons of flood warnings and watches.

Re: Wah!!!

So........my dad and I spent over 3-4 hours washing and waxing both cars. They look really nice, but the clear coat on the ML seems very thin now. We might have to have it professionally detailed soon.

Do you put in on every time you park and take it off every time you leave? Is the CLK a daily driver? If yes, you're anal.

It's not a daily commute car, I have a works van for that. But since wednesday when I got it, yes every night she has been put to bed....... Tonight when I got back, there was the slightest drops of rain on her, so out came the sheepskin mitt for a quick dry and then the cover went on.........God help me..........

You'll get used to it. I started yelling at the sky days before it even rains, after reading the weather forecast.

The cars are LHD so both the drivers doors are free, I guess you just let your passangers out before you park.

RE: Wah!!!

Actually, if it were that easy, I'd have left more room between the cars!

I can only (barely) get out of the cabrio, and when it's out of the garage I have to get in the E on the passenger side and slide my carcass over the console without scratching anything :banghead:  I'm only using the E on trips now anyway.

Animals, the photo is the hint

I wanted to guess BMW 3-Series convertible, but the lines don't match. They don't match any VWs or Audis either.
