These tire prices I bought a set of Michelin Cross Terrains for the M Class a little over 1 1/2 years ago. I paid $142.00 each taxes, balancing included. I just priced the same set to put on this summer and they were $954.00! That's $386.00 more in less than 2 years. I know oil has went up, but dayum! Edited by cmitch 1/10/2008 4:11 PM

These tire prices I just picked up a pair from the VYC tire store on ebay, used, for $64.95+ shipping. It was $99.95 for both total. They came in and I had them installed early Saturday morning. There was about 66% life left on them, so I got a wheel of a deal (pun intended).
