This time I'm asking for some help regarding the SL class. I'm presently working in the US for a period and have considered bying a SL to take home to Norway. There are some special rules importing a classic and it's more or less the only way we can get a decent car in without paying in blood to the Norwegian state. I see that the 280SL is the most desirable of the vehicles, conclusion just by looking at the asking price. Which engine has issues? where to look for rust? I did see there was a linq to an article about the 107 series, but the linq did not work? The model year I'm looking at is up to and including 1982. Edited by sivi 12/12/2010 10:26 AM | ||
