New Diesels and Old Trucks
In a number of threads the concept of installing a new (Bluetech) diesel in various Gs has arisen. Most often the difficulties in concept that is mentioned seems to be the electronics, not the fit ... So here are several questions I have not found answers too in research elsewhere:

Don't you think it would be better to go Cummins than it would be to go Benz? I would try out a 4BT cummins engine. www.4btswaps.com These are tough and cheap diesels. | ||

I think I can speak for Drew here, 750 lbs of rattling vibrating Iron, does not compare to a mercedes diesel. Although 4BT's are a good choice for a 1/2 ton truck or van. | ||
