Keep in mind the area on the sides will still be silver, like the Pontiac. Also the flat part where the Euro plate goes will be covered in CF overlay to match and the grill will be blacked out |

Right....kind of hard to "see" right now, but I know the look you're going for and I think it will look really good when you're done with it. |

I got a price quote for painting a c/f hood like that and i was told minimum of 700. Not exactly a fair price. |

Wow. Is carbon fiber harder to paint or something? I don't see why it would cost that much. |

I was told the hood had to be stripped down to the c/f then primered, then painted, then clearcoated. I have seen a REALLY nice way of painting c/f, its just a light spray over the bare c/f and you can still see the weave through the paint. Lemme see if I can find the link. |

Jimmy, I didn't get a tracking # yet so I don't know, BB how much does the oem weigh? I'm paying 85 for shipping on the CF one so I can imagine what the metal one will cost to ship. Anyway VIPCLK already painted it so I'm going to mask it off and go over the rest with fine grit paper on a random orbital sander. Don't know how it will turn out but it's worth a shot. |

Well one of my rear calipers was dragging on the rotor and my Russian guy said I needed all new pads, so I ordered them and also cross drilled & slotted rotors all the way around. My old lady is REALLY gonna kick my anus now. |
