RE: Your Least Favorite MB ?

Agree, this isn't a topic that's likely to lead anywhere pretty.

Someone's feelings are bound to be hurt.

Also, I hate SUVs

Deathrattle - 6/23/2006 12:41 AM ....And if anyone votes for 107s-there is something wrong with their head.Prolly contains a worm or something.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.. their least favorite doesn't mean the car is crappy, they just don't like it because of whatever reason they may have.

That was a joke you dickwad.EVERYONE knows that all Mercedes models are wonderful.Except for the MLs which really are poorly designed, badly made tractors.

Oh yeah? then it is safe to say that judging by the way you talk, I could bet that you're not really an educated person, perhaps its your brain that contains a worm or something.. and THAT is a joke

RE: Your Least Favorite MB ?

On any given day, a car that won't start has go to be my least favorite!

Since we are talking about Benz, that would also be the case, which is why I chose my own option.

Also, that way I am not going to get into a Pissing contest with some body that has a different view....I hope!!

After all, who really wants a paper weight with four wheels?

But seriously.  Who voted for a 107?  Because that's just plain weird.

RE: Your Least Favorite MB ?

For the record, I didn't vote for R107, and I was simply commenting that everyone is entitled for their own opinion, nothing less, nothing more, and then I get attacked and being called a dickwad? I wasn't trying to get anyone pissed.

And to Deathrattle, I'm sorry if my comments pissed you off, cause I didn't mean to.

Anyway, I still think that everyone in this forum is entitled for their opinion of what is their least favorite MB for various reason they may have. I personally voted for W168 A-class, and for a reason too. Our family bought that car in 2000, and only lasted a year as we sold it in 2001. That car had loads of more problems that in my opinion is worse than the ML. Just for a month during ownership, the power windows regulator broke down twice, and the story goes on. Even all of them are repaired under warranty, we just didn't want to keep it anymore and sold it.

So there.

^^^^^^

Actually, all my comments here were totally flippant and were neither intended to be taken seriously nor personally. It is kind of you to offer apology although none is required.I reciprocate.
There are still a few things in this world of which are concern to me, but frankly, cars are not one of them.

RE: Your Least Favorite MB ?

I voted for the A class, but in thinking about it someone should add the smart, if that is even a real MB, looks like a soccer ball with wheels and once you manage to shoehorn yourself in it and drive to where you are going you will be deformed for life. There are two parked in the university I want to put one in my boot and steal it only to return it to the top of a building.

jdc1244 - 6/22/2006 11:19 PM Any Mercedes that looks like a Honda - really sad.
That C class is a nice looking car. That car is totally stock. Maybe that's why you didn't like it but if it's equip with the right moddification then the C class will be an eye catching car.
Besides.. if it looks like an Accord, its Honda copying Mercedes design.. that C-class has been introduced in 1995, and the Accord was out in 1998?

If DB originated the design then that's even more sad; it represents a design capitulation in an attempt to look like other cars. It has ugly plastic covered (or are they made of plastic?!) B pillars, the car looks cheap and shoddy.

I also dislike SUVs and Minivans, so whether or not they are built well is not the point. It is a fact that at one point MLs were poorly built. The quality may have improved recently but who cares? If you need to haul kids and junk around then get a Chrysler minivan and stick a magnetic soccer ball on the back and leave the Mercedes to those who appreciate fine and unique cars.

I'm tellin ya man, I'm 6'-3" and I fit in a Smart roadster with room to spare...

Admit that I never tried the regular Smart though.  It looked scary to us tall guys.

RE: Your Least Favorite MB ?

JDC I don't know where you get off bashing Mercedes making a van, as they were making vans, trucks, and buses well before the beloved W126 was even conceived. I have no problem with them making a van...if they brought the Vito over here that'd be great..but this grand sport tourer BS with the R class is a little much..I'd rather have the simple looks of the Vito over this wannabe.

The Vito offers the same if not more room than it's US competitors, has the "luxury brand" people in US want, and is economical. Why make the R Class???

Vito
