I quite like the E class I think it looks like a baby W140, at least you wont have problems with parking it  . I knew this guy that said he drove his 124 about 300km with out oil and there was not problems with teh car after. (I havn't decided if I think that is true yet). | |

Wish it was. V8s only made in LHD so have to wait till 2010 before bring one in the country (or living overseas for 90 days while owning one... stupid NZ rules!) There is an E400 for sale right now in NZ but would have to be converted to LHD. To do that properly would be about NZ$15-20 000 so not worth it. Still in 3 1/2 years I'll finally be able to get myself a 500E. | |

So right, our import rules are ridiculous I've seen that Lorinser E400 your refering to in the flesh, it's very nice and would have been snapped up long ago if it weren't for this bizarre criteria we have for LHD imports Here's my dad's low mileage 300E, which I'm trying get my hands on  ...and this very low mileage AMG of some friends which I'm also keen to get a hold of    | ||
