Fewer and fewer of the 300 TD Turbodiesel Wagons are showing up on E-Bay. There are NONE this week. Does that mean that people don't want to part with them, or Are They All Gone?

Has anyone been to a Pull-A-Part Auto parts yard? Interesting place for a $1 admission! Lots of 123 and 126 Chassis MB's here. No Wagons of course.

Interesting place for a $1 admission! Lots of 123 and 126 Chassis MB's here. No Wagons of course. i'd have a field day there,... here 123's are now running 2litre toyota diesels in them and they all suck. a few days back i took out my W123 and some guy chased me down and begged me to sell it. when he found out that it was still running its original petrol (carby) engine and how much i've recentl;y spent on it during its resto from the dealership he changed his mind. LOL! i wish people woudl stop looking at old cars as junk,.. they built these things to last and my W123 (and a few more in PK) are a true testament to this.

Finally found a 1982 300TD wagon at our local Pull-a-Part yard. It was in rough shape, blue with palomino MB-Tex. Many parts were gone, but I did find several items I had been looking for. The rear backup lenses were in great shape!

There's an awesome euro (non-turbo) diesel wagon on eBay now. Auction is about to end in half an hour. But, it's in amazing condition, and has a manual trans! The price, however, is way too steep for me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1981-MERCEDES-BENZ-W123-EURO-4-SPEED...
