Love W140 chase cars! Your 140 could drop the wife off at the opera at 9:00 pm, then used for mob activities and chases at 10:30 pm

T

Exactly. I like your thinking.

I remember the days when the W126s ruled the movies. Bad guys always seem to drive the S Classes. But really, in most movies, the bad guys are always cool.

A black LWB S-class with limo tint - quiet hum of a power window going down, an elegant European lady in black, Champagne in her left hand, long cigarette with a long holder in mouth, and a sleek revolver with a silencer making it's way out the window at it's target...

I hope the target isn't one of my cars. Although, if she was aiming for my S500, I think I would be safe, cuz it has the double paned windows, so one layer would shatter off, while I could still speed away in the black of night.

I think there should be a W116, W126 and W140 S-class club...where you go to club meetings dressed like a 20's mobster haha

haha, yea. That would be cool. The 116, 126, and 140 all look like the kind of cars that mob bosses drive.

The 220 really doesn't fit in...

The 220 is more of a family car, i guess. It does not fit in to the "mobster lifestyle. haha.

it's not really that sad. If I saw that, I would have remembered it too. What color was it? What year do you think it was?

Thats the thing the shot is as if teh cameraman was sitting in the back seat between the two head rests. Hesh gets out of the car to meet somebody. How I noticed was the dash in the car. The interior I think was black or grey. I can find hte episode so we can see all 2 seconds of it.

Even though they would only be 2 seconds, what a great 2 seconds it will be.

I remember a couple of years ago, in the Will Smith movie, Enemy of the State, Will Smith and this other guy steal some business guy's W140 in the middle of the street.

And the best part, was Will Smith saying, "Daym man, you jacked a really nice car."

I loved that part. The one in the movie was a 1997-1999 W140. I could tell by the rims.

I appreciate all your enthusiasm, but please try to stay on topic. This thread is about the S600 vs. 760Li vs. A8L W12 (and the LS600hL added), not the W140, previous gen 7-Series, nor the W220. Please take your enthusiasm somewhere else!
