Can you use a P21/5w bulb in lieu of a P21W for the brake lights on a G?

 No, you cannot. The two are not electricallly or physically interchangeable. I am guessing you are trying to increase the illuminated area of the tail lamp function, is that correct? There is a way to do it, but not by using a P21/5w bulb.
