Extract". All I know is: You can do this job in your "Sunday Bests", and not get dirty. Say that about a "drain" job. Plus, I swear I get "several hundred" cc's more oil out. No wonder MB RECOMMENDS this method. Of course, a motorized extractor is much easier. This was my mobile, "Cheap-O" alternative. BE SURE THE ENGINE IS WARM! (NOT HOT!, JUST "WARM"). It will go WAY FASTER, plus you are putting the Garbage in the oil pan into "solution" to be removed. Yes, I am using Synthetic. This is the gamble I'm taking, in hopes that I can extend the change intervals to once per year, so I can do the work myself when I visit. I will keep you advised as to any "leaks" changing from Dino to Syn. 0W-40 Mobil 1 Edited by G-AMG 8/28/2008 11:24 PM (1.JPG) (2.JPG) (3.JPG) (4.JPG) (5.JPG) (6.JPG) (7.JPG) (8.JPG) (9.JPG) (10.JPG) Attachments ---------------- 1.JPG (96KB - 21 downloads) 2.JPG (85KB - 24 downloads) 3.JPG (78KB - 21 downloads) 4.JPG (77KB - 24 downloads) 5.JPG (76KB - 21 downloads) 6.JPG (83KB - 20 downloads) 7.JPG (66KB - 22 downloads) 8.JPG (83KB - 24 downloads) 9.JPG (58KB - 22 downloads) 10.JPG (84KB - 22 downloads) | ||
