| G-AMG G-Class DIY Host Date registered: May 2006 Location: South Texas Vehicle(s): '04 G55, '80 280GE, '99 S420, '98 E320, 2011 E350  | Photo DIY- Coolant Fluid Replacement Although WIS Specifies "Every 3 Years", I use a "Every 2 Year" interval, per the advice from my friend who is the Head Tech at a Huge MB Dealer. USE ONLY MB OEM FLUID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although people swear Zerex 05 is the "exact" same stuff............ I'm not taking ANY chances, especially for a couple of bucks difference!!! MB parts are horribly expensive, as you know. Also, USE ONLY DISTILLED or DEIONIZED WATER. Yes, WIS has a detailed treatise on acceptable tap water specifications......... but, again, you are talking 2 gallons of Distilled water at 90 cents per gallon.
