| G-AMG G-Class DIY Host Date registered: May 2006 Location: South Texas Vehicle(s): '04 G55, '80 280GE, '99 S420, '98 E320, 2011 E350  | Photo DIY- Front Seat R/R, with Seat Belt Anchor R/R Greets. Well, after quite a scary discovery, I needed to change the "Inner" Seatbelt "Anchor" on my wife's car (where the Seat Belt Buckle "Clicks" into). Driving it into work at 3am, I buckled the seatbelt but had a "less than 'crisp' " clicking of the buckle. No Seatbelt warning, but I noticed the "comfort" feature (where the belt automatically tensions against your chest) was also not working correctly. Well getting out of the car, I leaned forward and "POP", the seatbelt came out all on it's own!! After several tests, I found the belt wasn't even fastening... YIKES!! I immediately grounded the car, and did the following repair. I hope this helps someone.
