Once I found the place the owner was at the house, he told me this car had 4 owners, he is the one who had rebuilt the engine. I have takin a picture of the engine, he told me the engine was rebuilt and he had service recipts, though the car was sitting for 10 months. The car also had a rebuilt alternator, he told me that he could never get a charge, I check the belt it was slack, reason why the car is not chargeing the battery. Now when turning on the car was the ruff part, but it had a nice Idle. Quieter then my car... The engine sound like it has a lot of life to give. Though the engine is very Dirty needs some Gunk! Well the owner was in a rush to go to work so he didnt have time to show me the paper work on the engine, so tell me does this engine look rebuilt? (Remeber the engine had rebuilt 15k ago before it sat for 10months) Other than that Engine ran GREAT! I happy! Now the exterior and interior of the car! Its way better in person! the color is more of a Gold Bold Brown! The interior had no WEAR! No Rips and the interior is a Gold Tan. Plus the car had a nice sound system a nice Pioneer Cd/ player with rear matching pioneer speakers. The car had some rust on the right rear bottom wheel arch. Not a big problem for me because my 240D is the same. There was some Oxidized paint on the upper part of the body of the car, but not on the roof and no rust by the sunroof. The trunk hood had the most oxidized paint then the whole car, but not major, just a lighter brown. The car is just a steal for the price! But, we gotta' remeber a Cheap mercedes is a expensive mercedes! Who knows? Can't wait to put that new sports grill on...:boink: I might pick up the car this weekend, if work is not in the way.
