| Adjusting Hood Pull
this morning, i re-readjusted my hood pull, as it had worked its way "slack" again..........
and i adjusted it IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.......
now i gotta redo it, when its not so hot out, later...............
damm.........
btw, i do it from underneath, pulling the plastic crap aside........
i dont know for sure, but im suspecting i can remove the small numbers plate with the two screws by the hood latch, to get at it from the top.....but i havent tried yet........anyone else do this? |

ok, well, i destroyed it all now.......
DAMMIT!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
my under dash covers are gone, ripped out.........
the pull lever for the hood opener is broken off...........
all that remains is the cable...........which u gotta pull REALLY hard to open the hood.........
which is necessary every time, because of my busted vacuum pump......
which was about to be replaced with a new one, from GermanStar..........
so, Ich werde jetz Standesrechtlich erschossen............
(i will now be "given" the right to stand and be shot)
well, i guess i gotta order a new hood pull lever assembly.........at least the cable is still ok........
