W210 pre-facelift Front Bumper Lower Grille Gitter Racingmesh

hey All....so, my daughter managed to lose the plastic lower bumper grille while parking somewhere!....and i didn't want to replace it with the stock plastic one.....here's what i got, at a very reasonable price.... i chose silver to blend in, but maybe i'll try the black center piece - makes it look like a grin!....

Someone played a prank or really needed the black plastics? Or did she hit something? The bumper is really though if it takes a hit to loose the plastics but has no cracks in it..

I'd definitely go with a black grille, and paint the attaching beams black also. But that's just a question of taste. The current solution looks okay too

Oh, and isn't this a facelift W210 not a pre-facelift? mine is a facelift and it looks like this.. except for the winter pkg. wich includes headlight washer nozzle mechanism. The projector lights are on the W211 series...
