| Back in a diesel again! Need Remote!
After selling my G350DT I have missed the Mercedes diesels, finally decided to pick up a 97 E300, 200,000 miles young, great shape, love it!
Will post more on it later but right now I am looking for a remote key? I have the key blade itself that came out of the original fob but need a new/used remote for it.
Have been checking on Ebay and see quite a few just not sure which one works with my car?
I bought the car at auction, there was a receipt in the glove box for a new remote, $250! Contacted the previous owner and he said he gave the keys to the insurance company, gone now and don't want to spend $250 for a new one!
I am getting tired of locking/unlocking from the trunk, why did Mercedes not put a key hole in the drivers door? I could live without a remote if I could lock it from the drivers door.
