Photo DI"M"- Secondary Air Pump R/R

As part of my lengthy work-up of the nagging Rough Idle situation, I opted to remove the Secondary Air Pump to give it a good looking over.

At least on the M119 S420 engine, the pump is NOT removable without lifting the engine.

I have scoured the WIS, and cannot find any Test Parameters for the Pump, so I'm not sure whether or not 20 amps of current is normal, or not.

As you can see, my "DIY" has been Modified to "DO IT 'MYSELF'".... not 'Yourself'. Due to recent posts by some using the words "LIABILITY", has made me nervous.

Therefore, from here on out, my posts will be "DIM" meaning the post is SOLELY for "Entertainment Value *ONLY* and is not intended to be copied, or used as a Guide. They are Pictorial Re-gurgitations of WIS, and I am not Condoning, or approving of anyone using them as mechanical instructional.
