Are there many W140 around your neighbourhood or housing area?
Well I think only few W140s are around here. I saw only 6 of them around my neighbourhood.
Many use the new C class and the W124 E.
30 minutes drive to the town, then there will be lots of government W140 S600, people’s S280, S320 etc and also saw many used W140 laying around the used car lots in town, Toyota dealers and i am amaze in some far village area even there's at least 2 or 3 W140 for sale in the workshop lot.

The city that I currently reside in has a total population of about 125k I know of 4 W140 so far that is it, in my parents town of about 60k I know of 3.
In both cases that is including mine. We are still importing and buying them here even the early ones.

well, I really dont see that many, considering that I live in California. It is the most populated state in America, and keeps getting bigger every day, but for some reason, I don't see too many W140's here. There are a lot of people who drive W211 E Class as well as a whole bunch of W203 C Classes, a pretty good amount of W220's, but not really too many W140's. If you look around and search for them all day, you may see about 5. They all look great too. |

There are a few in my town. I live about 20 miles East of Pittsburgh. There is my 500SEL, my Grand Edition, Someone has a Silver 97 S500, I've seen a Black 400SEL and 2 white 400SELs, 1 Silver 400SEL, one white 400SE, and a tan S320. Sounds like a lot, but it is very very rare to see one. Most people seem to have Jeeps, Suburbans, Mini-vans, and other SUVs. I'll be sure to post pictures of my car when I get back. I'm leaving Sarasota on Friday afternoon and should be back in the Burgh by early Saturday morning. |

a few years back it seemed as if everyone had a W140,.. now it's all W203's , W209's and W220's!! |

that was when the world was peaceful. Everyone was safe inside their W140. Those days are gone. |
